We are seeking an Educator Consultant to enroll eligible King County residents into various benefit programs: Apple Health, Qualified Health Plans, ORCA Lift, Basic Food, Energy Assistance programs, Breast Cervical Health Care Program, King County Adult Dental program and provide assistance on the Community Health Access Program (CHAP), phone line. This position will work at various Public Health Centers throughout King County and one day at the ORCA Lift Office in Seattle.
You’ll provide outreach and enrollment assistance at Public Health Centers, health fairs, community events, school districts, with the unsheltered and LGBTQ+communities. This position will also provide updates about our programs to community partners, community-based organizations, school districts, business community and other entities. You’ll also assist in developing educational materials, handouts and training materials; work with the Program Managers and Education Consultants in reviewing the data for clients not enrolled in health insurance or ORCA Lift and work with them to develop an outreach plan and implementation of the plan into the community; and coordinate community outreach events and fairs.
Evenings and weekend are mandatory for this position.
