Help provide individualized care to those in residential services in the Western Massachusetts community!

Become a part of our team of competent and compassionate professionals as a Registered Nurse in the Developmental Services Residential program at Behavioral Health Network!  The MAP Registered Nurse ensures agency policies and procedures are in compliance with Medication Administration Program (MAP) requirements by conducting regular and unannounced audits in all residential/office/independent living sites and completing all documentation required to ensure re-certification of staff that have successfully completed re-certification testing.  The MAP RN provides training for the staff in all aspects of the MAP, related BHN policies, and the DDS Health Care Initiative as well as training for individuals and families served. 

Additionally, the Registered Nurse provides consultation to supervisory staff and ensures that self-medication training programs comply with MAP requirements.  Completing self-medication assessments of individuals served by the Program and conducts MAP re-certification training and testing will be among the Registered Nurse’s tasks.    The MAP RN serves as a liaison to the Regional MAP Coordinator and DPH staff.  Finally, the MAP RN provides on-call support to Residential programs.

The Developmental Services programs at BHN include 24-hour staffed Residential services, Community Day Support, individual and family Support Services, a Social Club, and an Advocacy Program.
