Director Strategic Development of the Hospital at Home Initiative for the Huntsman Cancer Institute at the University of Utah in SLC: Requires a Master's degree in nursing, healthcare administration, or a related field; 36 months experience building and operationalizing home hospital program(s), and 36 months experience or training in patient care protocols relating to patient home care. The experience requirements includes 36 months of employment experience as an operational director or clinical lead of a hospital at home program. The Director Strategic Development will build and operationalize a home hospital program that will enable patients to avoid unnecessary hospital admissions; will institute processes and practices to care for oncology patients at home; manage all aspects of the Huntsman at Home hospital program; institute processes and practices that ensure excellent patient care; develop data gathering and tracking mechanisms to ensure appropriate monitoring of quality and performance; ensure competency of clinicians; publish and disseminate research generated by the Huntsman at Home hospital program. Will require regular travel to rural counties in Utah.
