Medical Laboratory Scientist II at ARUP Laboratories in Salt Lake City: Requires Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, Medical Technology or in the chemical or biological sciences; and ASCP or AAB certification as MLS or MT. In the Immunology Core laboratory, the Medical Laboratory Scientist will perform testing methods for the Fluorescent Enzyme Immunoassay testing platform. Will operate and maintain three different Thermofisher Phadia instrumentation. Will participate in preparing specimens for processing; establish, perform, and document quality assurance, quality control, confirm and verify results through in-depth knowledge of techniques, principles, and instruments. Correlates, interprets and enters data based on knowledge of factors affecting test results. Will also be responsible for individual and independent projects in addition to their scheduled job duties.
