JOB DESCRIPTION
CNC OPERATOR

Responsibilities for CNC Operator:
• Produce machined parts by operating a CNC Lathe or Mill
• Verify part compliance to print or other documentation, calipers, micrometers
• Reading of blueprints, drawings, machine parts or specifications to determine type and
dimensions of stock required
• Responsible for all paperwork of area of machinery assigned
• Work with and operate computer numeric controlled heavy machinery to produce parts
and tools from metal, plastic, or other materials.

Qualifications for CNC Operator:
• Knowledge and/or demonstration of safety procedures and safe working practices
• Ability to work with a team to produce high quality parts in a timely manner
• Ability to be able to work both independently and with a high degree of detail and
accuracy
• Ability to stand/sit/move for entire work shift, including walking, bending, reaching,
squatting, carrying, lifting.
