Bob started the company with a single buried service wire plow and one employee, burying telephone drops for a major telecommunications company that provided telephone service throughout the state of Texas. Within just a few years, Housley Communications, Inc. expanded its buried service wire business to become a major supplier for several major telecommunications and cable TV companies. The company's services quickly expanded to include Outside Plant Engineering and Construction services to regional and international telephone operating companies.
