The Informatics Senior Developer position will be an integral member of the Rainbow Analytics Core as well as the Regional Pediatric Pandemic Network team in:

1) Identifying informatics solutions

2) Assessing & deploying industry available informatics solutions

3) developing net new informatics solutions

4) maintaining & enhancing existing informatics solutions in support of the prioritized informatics pediatric and RPPN grant needs for multi-disciplinary disease teams as well as cross-cutting teams.

This will be accomplished by assisting with design, development, testing, implementation and support of solutions which could include: web-applications, middleware applications, data exchange applications, and/or databases which are used in the clinical, research, quality and administrative enterprise in support of pediatric and family specific requirements and needs. The role will also manage assigned project tasks and/or applications

Masters Degree in computer science, computer engineering, healthcare IT or related field required; Certification or degreed program in Bioinformatics, Biomedical Informatics, or Clinical Informatics preferred.

Minimum of seven years professional development experience required.

At least two of those years in healthcare, bio-statistics/ epidemiology, or healthcare-oriented research preferred.
