PENNSYLVANIA GENERAL ENERGY COMPANY PRODUCTION MANAGER/ENGINEER

Pennsylvania General Energy (PGE) is a leading privately owned, independent E&P company in the Appalachian basin. With operations across PA, and headquartered in Warren, PA, we are seeking a full time Production Manager/Engineer. As a member of our leadership team, the incumbent will foster continued growth through positive contributions. We are searching for an experienced Production Manager with the effective leadership skills and a record of accomplishment to direct and supervise the daily activities of Superintendents and Area Operations Managers and maintain and maximize production in a safe and profitable manner, as well as:

•Monitor and evaluate well performance to maximize production rates while minimizing downtime

•Develop a strong working relationship with field operations personnel.

•Support development of business presentations.

•Responsible for researching new technology associated with unconventional gas production.

• Coordinate production changes with Gas Marketing personnel.

•Provide precise, detailed reports of problems, updates, failures, operational parameters and personnel status

•Monitors actual costs and ensures adherence to financial controls related to capital expenditures

•Reviews and authorizes contracts of the necessary resources for project execution such as equipment, personnel and services

•Partners with the safety and environmental department to implement and ensure compliance with the Company's safety and environmental policies

• Participates in the recruitment and hiring process for key talent necessary for the performance of the production group.

•Motivates and develops talent with the goal of improving current performance and providing the necessary training opportunities for future development Qualified candidates will have a Bachelor's degree in an engineering field; and a minimum of 10 years of production operations experience in unconventional gas production.
