CSKT Director of Economic Development Tribal Administration, Pablo MT. The Confederated Salish and Kootenai Tribes (CSKT) Director of Economic Development (DED) is a management position appointed by the Tribal Council to develop and oversee Tribal economic development initiatives. The primary focus is analysis and management of new and existing business development opportunities to create increased revenues to the Tribes and creation of new jobs. The minimum requirement includes a four-year degree in Business Administration, Economic Development or related area of study from an accredited college or university, with a preference for Masters' Degree or Doctorate. Other combinations of experience and education that meet the minimum requirements may be substituted. Requires at least ten (10) years of experience at the executive level applying in economic development level planning with a minimum of five (5) years' experience in all aspects of business operations from evaluation of potential businesses, development, and implementation of business plans through startup and operations. The salary range is negotiable and the position will be employed under an employment contract. The closing date will be 9/5/19. The successful applicant, if not already employed by the Tribe, must pass a pre-hire drug test.
