The KPMG Bay Area Audit practice has seen tremendous growth and we have unique opportunities for Auditors who would be like to split their work-life 50/50 between their home base of Salt Lake City and the exciting San Francisco Bay Area. Our Bay Area practice has a balance of public and private clients in a number of industries, including the dynamic technology sector and a robust venture capital practice. KPMG is currently seeking a Senior Associate, Audit to join our Audit organization in Salt Lake City with regular travel to the San Francisco Bay Area.

Responsibilities: Execute the day-to-day activities of audit engagements of various clients including Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) registrants located in the San Francisco Bay Area Identify and communicate accounting and auditing matters to managers and partners Identify performance improvement opportunities Interact with clients to help ensure the information flow from the client to the audit team is efficient Understand and utilize KPMG's Audit Methodology Supervise Audit Associates and Interns on engagements.

Qualifications: Minimum of two years of current and/or recent audit experience in public accounting. Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university and eligible to sit for the CPA exam. Applied working knowledge of U.S. Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and accounting procedures. Ability to meet challenging client requirements and to provide services while possessing strong communication, interpersonal, analytical, and research abilities. Demonstrated supervisory experience. Based out of our Salt Lake City office with the ability and willingness to travel to and spend roughly fifty percent of their work-time in the San Francisco Bay Area KPMG LLP (the U.S. member firm of KPMG International) offers a comprehensive compensation and benefits package.
