Senior Powerhouse Engineer assist the Powerhouse Superintendent in the overall operation of site power generation systems. Monitor, document and analyze organization's energy usage. Research, develop, recommend and implement best practices and procedures designed to improve reliability, reduce energy consumption, GHG emissions and improve efficiency of usage including the identification, development and implementation of sustainable cost effective and environmentally sound alternative energy technologies. Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering. A minimum of 10 years' post-degree experience in engineering, management and/or maintenance of a coal-fired power generation system (both steam and electrical). Previous supervisory experience required. Relevant certifications are preferred. Tata Chemicals is an Equal Employment and Drug Free workplace.
