The position of Full Time Laborer is available in the Public Works Department. The position has a 40-hour work week. The American Federation of State, County and Municipal Employees AFL-CIO, District Council 71 represents the position of Laborer in the Public Works Department. Applicants must be able to operate commercial power equipment, including riding mowers, weed wackers, and various hand tools.

Duties include: Trash collection, leaf collection, building and grounds maintenance, road maintenance, vehicle and equipment maintenance and snow removal. Applicants must be able to lift 50 pounds, possess or have the ability to obtain a New Jersey Commercial Driver's License Class B with Air Brakes within six months of hire date, and have a clean driving record.
