Maintenance Technician
Job Description
A manufacturing company is seeking a Maintenance Technician who will be responsible for the inspection, troubleshooting, and repair of process and facility-related equipment. This is a first shift position working 6 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
Job Responsibilities:
- Perform preventative maintenance according to schedule
- Provide emergency and unscheduled repairs during production
- Utilize hydraulic and pneumatic systems, as well as hand and electric tools
- Perform basic facility maintenance repairs
- Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders
- Diagnose problems, repair equipment, and make adjustments when needed
- Maintain a clean and orderly work area
- Record and manage work using computer system
- Perform other duties assigned
Job Requirements
Job Qualifications:
- Must have at least 5 years industrial maintenance experience
- Must have basic understanding of manufacturing equipment utilizing hydraulic and pneumatic systems, and hand and power tools
- Must have a working knowledge of safety protocols, such as LOTO, SDS, and OSHA regulations
- Must be able to diagnose problems, repair equipment, and make adjustments when needed
- Must have the ability to read and understand manuals and work orders and follow maintenance schedules
- Must have excellent communication and basic computer skills
- Must have the ability to push, pull, and lift 50 pounds regularly
- Must be able to work well under pressure and demonstrate high-level problem-solving skills
