Seeking Candidates for Diesel Mechanic Located in Truckee, CA. Automotive/truck, light/heavy equipment maintenance/diagnosis/repair.

Including diesel, air brake, hydraulic, electrical systems, DOT compliance. PAID TIME OFF & SICK PAY, PROFIT SHARING & 401(K) MATCH, HEALTH INSURANCE & FLEX SPENDING, COMPETITIVE PAY Collection Route Driver Must have Commercial driver license, Class A or B. 

• Knowledge of procedures, tools, equipment, materials used in repair and maintenance of motorized equipment.

• Knowledge of air brake, hydraulic and electrical systems, DOT compliance.

• Proficiency in vehicle and equipment diagnosis and repair.

• Ability to read and comprehend service and technical information.

• Experience in automotive/truck, light or heavy equipment maintenance and repair.

• Provide personal tools.

• Equivalent of high school diploma or G.E.D. certification.

• Pre employment drug testing and a physical required.

PREFERRED:

• Completion of automotive trade school.

• ASE certification in the automotive field.

• Completion of recognized heavy duty equipment mechanic apprenticeship.

• Certification in CFC removal and disposal.

• Previous supervisory experience is a plus but not required, will reflect in pay DOE.

• Clean DMV record; CDL Class B with Air Brakes.
