STAFF ACCOUNTANT

Neal, Scouten & McConnell, P.C has an immediate opening for an entry level Staff Accountant.  We are a full service accounting firm providing services to a wide variety of clients.  For 24 years we have been servicing our clients professionally in tax, audit, consulting and business accounting.  Our Firm is located in downtown Chattanooga, Tennessee.    

A B.S. degree in accounting is required.  This position is primarily for audit, but some tax preparation when needed.  Must be able to work independently, as well as a member of the audit team, and meet deadlines. The applicant needs to be proficient in Excel and Word.  Our Firm offers health, dental, disability, and life insurance, as well as 401 (k) plan.  We also have paid parking, vacation, sick leave, and paid holidays.  A CPA license is not required.
