Senior Quality Engineer (Smith & Nephew, Inc., Pittsburgh, PA)

Develop various inspection techniques and procedures and ensure product integrity to design specifications. Interface with Manufacturing Engineers and suppliers to support the transfer of designs into manufacturing and to transfer products from respective sites.

Requires: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering or Industrial Engineering plus 5 years of experience in the job offered or related role in the medical device industry, OR a Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering or Industrial Engineering plus 2 years of experience in the job offered or related role in the medical device industry. Must be willing and able to travel (national and international) 10% of the time.
