This position is open to all internal and external qualified candidates.
Midway position is a 0.8-1.0 FTE and works 32-40 hours per week ; South Regional Team B position is 1.0 FTE works 40 hours per week. Work days and hours will be determined at time of hire, may vary based on client service needs, and may include some early morning, evening, and weekend hours.
This position is non-exempt and therefore subject to the provisions of the Fair Labor Standards Act. There is ability to provide services via phone/video during COVID precautions.
Midway Public Health Center 26401 Pacific Highway S Des Moines, WA 98198; South Regional B serves multiple sites throughout South East King County, with a base site at Birch Creek Public Health Center at 13111 SE 274th St, Kent, WA 98030. May be asked to work at other locations on an as needed basis depending on staffing needs. Some field/home visiting is also an expectation of this position.

Public Health relies on office automation (Microsoft Office) and web-based enabled tools, therefore candidates must be proficient and comfortable with computer use to perform functions associated with on-going work.
Regular and reliable attendance, effective communication skills, and development of effective working relationships are requirements of all Public Health positions.
Staff may be required to play an active role in the event of a public health emergency, which may include changes in responsibilities and working hours.
NECESSARY SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:
The selected candidate must pass a thorough background investigation.
The candidate must possess a valid Washington State driver's license.

Employees are required to adhere to OSHA/WISHA guidelines including but not limited to completing their mandatory trainings on time.
