Manager Detailing & Engineering Want to work for a premier custom exhibit house, where projects you work on will be installed in some of the finest museums and institutions in this country? As Detailing Manager you will be responsible for directing and monitoring the operations of the Detailing department; detailing exhibits, working with the Project Managers to determine their needs and providing creative engineering solutions to them. Successful candidate will be able to interpret and communicate PM needs to their staff; including provide recommendations based on budget constraints, schedule department resources, identify problems and opportunities for cost savings/improvement and providing technical assistance and training. As department manager you will chair meetings, attend job launches, approve time/expenses and work to motivate your staff to achieve the very best results. Working knowledge of design, exhibit construction and materials, plus 3-5 years management experience. College or secondary school in CAD with strong knowledge of Solid Works and 3-5 years. Detailing experience required.
