Diagnostic Imaging Administrative Director

Memorial Hospital, a small and rural Critical Access Hospital in west central Illinois, the heart of America’s food basket, and an area leader in quality health care services is seeking a Diagnostic Imaging Administrative Director.  This position will coordinate a wide variety of administrative, fiscal and technical activities to ensure efficient operation of the hospital diagnostic imaging department. But wait there’s more, if you act now we will double the offer, the Imaging Director will also be the Director of Imaging for Unity Point Health Hospital in Keokuk, Iowa located on the beautiful banks of the Mississippi River. Our two hospitals are located 15 miles apart. This position will oversee the successful operation of both hospital’s Diagnostic Imaging Departments.

The successful candidate will possess very good leadership and communication skills. Previous successful management and leadership experience a must. The Director will manage the working lives of 15+ Imaging Department employees. So, bring your interpersonal skills “A”game.

Additional required skills include financial and business acumen, vendor contract negotiations and budget preparation.

Experience using Epic and CPSI EMR software a major plus.

Graduate of an AMA approved school of radiology

Current active registration with the A.R.R.T

Current permit to practice in the State of Illinois and the State of Iowa

Bachelor’s Degree in Management or Equivalent

3-5 years of successful supervisory experience required
