The Library Applications Developer III oversees application development for the Libraries’ digital repository platforms, gathering stakeholders’ requirements and translating needs into application features. They will ensure the optimal performance of lslandora, Open Journal Systems (OJS) and WordPress software and evaluate applications to update and add new features. Working across library departments, they will design, write, test, and debug applications that improve work efficiencies or the user experience. They will develop appropriate documentation to represent application design and code accurately. They will also have secondary responsibilities for the development and maintenance of the library's website. The position reports to the Director of Library Information Technology and Digital Scholarship & Initiatives.
