Thermal Integration Design Release Engineer with Rivian Automotive, LLC in Tustin, CA. Define, coordinate, develop, source, & deliver components required to execute Rivian's Thermal management system for our brand-new vehicle platform.

Requirements: Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering or a closely related field plus 5 years of experience related to automotive design, release, and production. Experience must include: Working with vehicle thermal components design & release, automotive refrigerant systems, electrical thermal management & component controls protocols (LIN,CAN), & manufacturg teams & suppliers to understand & implement DFM/DFA; applying knowledge of thermal management performance related to EV's; overseeing BOM variants & facilitating part revisions thru approval & implementation processes, & managing the content & attributes in PLM/Sap systems; launching new models/ products into automotive hi-volume production; working with CAD tool CATIA V5/V6, GD&T, tolerance stack-up analysis, DFMEA, DVP&R, & PFMEA; analyzing FEA & performance testing reports while working with multiple suppliers; & applying knowledge of relevant manufacturing techniques of various heat exchanger components.
