Associate Attorney / Immigration (Cultura Law, LLC, Reading, PA): Perform legal research; Represent clients in court, attend hearings; Submtpetitions; Visit detained clients; Review, analyze & advise on forms of relief; Prep submissions for deportation defense; Coord paperwork; Prepwaivers of inadmissibility, unlawful presence & permission to Reapply to enter US after removal & AOS applications; Assist & advise clients with forms & documents; Prep clients for Asylum & AOS interviews; Accompany clients to interviews & applicants at USCIS; Oversee support staff. Must have experience with: Experience in Immigration Court & representing clients in removal defenses: Asylum, withholding of removal, convention against torture, AOS, Cancellation of Removal (Non-LPR & LPR), Voluntary Departure & Motions to Terminate based on various legal grounds before Immigration Judge; Drafting petitions, applications & appeals: family-based AOS or CP, U visa, VAWA, Naturalization, DACA & appeals to BIA for USCIS denials; Experience in successfully submitting I-601, I-601A, I-212; Experience preparing clients for Asylum & AOS interviews before USCIS; Strong analytical & legal research writing skills; & Must be Licensed Attorney in Good Standing. Requires LLM or foreign equivalent & 2 years experience as a Lawyer or related occupation. Admission to State Bar required. Little travel required to Immigration Court in Phila, PA (14%).
