Registered Nurse (RN) for an essential full-time role as a Clinical Liaison. As a Clinical Liaison,
you will be responsible for implementing wound and fall programs, managing incidents, and
monitoring these programs for quality outcomes. You will act as an important resource for staff
training in clinical procedures and oversee, monitor, and assess, compliance, quality, and safe
delivery of services by following clinical processes. This is an essential employee position that is
vital to maintaining the quality of care given to our residents and patients.

A day in the life of a Clinical Liaison includes, but is not limited to, the following duties and
responsibilities:


 Serves as a wound team coordinator and works closely with outside wound groups;
performs dressing changes daily for residents with pressure injury, coordinates plans of
care and interventions, monitors trends and reports on all new pressure areas and nonpressure skin incidents. Reports findings to QAPI committee.
 Serves as the Falls Management Program Coordinator with all involved disciplines.
Monitors trends and reports fall prevention activities and program results to the QAPI
committee.
 Serves as clinical resource for staff by seeking out new methods and principles and
offering direction, consultation, and orientation related to wound care, new
procedures, and technologies/equipment.
 Coordinates, reviews, and assists with the implementation and development of facility
policies and procedures, including but not limited to the facility’s resident care, clinical
and safety, and Resident Rights policies and procedures.
 Participates and contributes to QA programs.
 Deals tactfully and develops and maintains a good rapport with personnel, residents,
residents’ family members, government agencies, and the general public.
 Plans, organizes, develops, implements, and interprets a variety of program, goals,
objectives, policies, and procedures necessary for providing quality care.
 Is available per the needs of the team and takes part in a weekend on-call rotation.
Required qualifications:
 Graduate of an approved Registered Nurse program, or accredited college or university.
 Must be able to read, write, understand, and communicate in the English language.
 Minimum three years’ experience in wound care and geriatric nursing in an acute care
or long-term care setting, or other related health care facility.
 Knowledge of relevant State and Federal regulations.
 Current and unencumbered Registered Nurse license.


Shift:
 8:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. (may vary)
