The Office of the United States Trustee, Honolulu District Office, is looking for a highly motivated and experienced Auditor (Bankruptcy) professional to join our team. The USTP is a litigating component of the Department of Justice with responsibility for overseeing nearly all bankruptcy cases filed in the United States. The Program's mission is to promote the integrity and efficiency of the bankruptcy system for the benefit of all stakeholders - debtors, creditors, and the public. A Bankruptcy Auditor is responsible for the financial analysis and related investigative work associated with bankruptcy cases under applicable law to support the litigation and civil enforcement efforts of the USTP. Analytical and investigative assignments require professional knowledge of accounting and financial analysis to perform work that is similar in scope and complexity to that performed by a public accounting firm.
