Position Requirements:
-One (1) year RN experience in the OR with recent scrub and circulating functions required.
-Thorough knowledge of nursing process and practice. Uses a wide variety of technical equipment to meet patient needs and prescribed medical therapies (i.e. stethoscopes, thermometers, sphygmomanometers and electronic monitoring devices).

This 10-12 week full-time paid program beginning is designed to teach RNs the scrub and circulating role in the Operating Room with the expectation of a long-standing career in an OR setting. The Perioperative Program provides classroom lecture, skill development during mock surgeries and precepted clinical experiences that are integrated to facilitate your success. Following successful program completion, orientation and training continues as you gain knowledge and skills in other clinical OR specialties.
Education Requirements:
BSN, Diploma or Associate's Degree in Nursing from accredited program required.
License Requirements:
Registered nurse with current license to practice in the state of Ohio.
CPR certified in 90 days.
