REGISTERED DENTAL HYGIENIST

Keilman Dental Clinic, PC, located in The Dalles, Oregon is seeking a full-time dental hygienist to help treat patients and promote good oral health practices. We are looking for a hygienist who is reliable, and able to build trust with patients of all ages.

You should have a deep knowledge of relevant health and safety rules, ensure patients feel as comfortable as possible before treatment, conduct initial mouth screenings and check oral health history, take x-rays and dental impressions if needed, perform cleanings, root planing and scaling, debridement, give instructions to patients for proper home care, maintain documentation and detailed charting on patients, sterilize dental instruments properly and monitor supplies.

Skills highly recommended for this job would be in-depth knowledge of health and safety regulations in the profession, experience in preparing and maintaining dental equipment, outstanding communication skills with patients and fellow staff members, outgoing personality, attention to detail and stamina to meet the physical demands of the job.
