Taconic, a global leader in the manufacturing of PTFE coated fiberglass fabric, belts and tapes has the following opportunities available in our Corporate Office in Petersburgh, NY: Maintenance Electrician 2nd Shift Responsible for installation, repair and maintenance of facility equipment. This includes diagnosing problems and carrying out the repair which can be electrical, mechanical, plumbing or heating related. Associates degree in Electrical Maintenance or related, or four years of equivalent experience troubleshooting and repairing industrial equipment. Must be able to determine causes of operating errors and develop appropriate resolution. Experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, electronics, PLC ladder logic, and electrical is essential. Knowledge of machines and tools, including power and hand tools and volt/ohm meters is required. Must have a valid driver's license. Production Operators As a Production Operator you may be responsible for performing all aspects of departmental functions, including, machine set up and run, quality control, cleaning of equipment and completion of production reports. Must have good math and communication skills. Positions are on 2nd and 3rd shift.
