Provides support and assistance to the radiologic Technologist in caring for patients and family members during the imaging process. Assisting the Radiologic Technologist by completing basic patient assessments including verifying patient orders, completing patient questionnaires, patient preparation and instruction. Communication with other members of the health care team to help coordinate patient care. Facilitate patient care including, lifting, transport, chaperone and monitoring of patients. Assist with Radiology computer information and data entry including PAC system. Ensures the adequate availability of procedural supplies to include ordering and stocking patient care supply item. Follows hospital initiative in order to meet patient satisfaction goals. Basic patient care skills. Must be able to communicate effectively and interact with a diverse population across mutli-generations. Able to organize and adjust to changing workflow and patient care needs.
