Psychology Faculty Position

The Humanities Department at Waynesburg University is seeking applicants for a full-time, tenure-track faculty position in Psychology beginning Spring 2021. A PhD in Educational Psychology, School Psychology, or Developmental Psychology is preferred. Specialization in child psychology/therapy, clinical or counseling psychology with a specialization in working with children and families will be considered. Experience in school psychology is preferred. Additionally, preference will be given to applicants who hold certification, license, or be license eligible in Pennsylvania. Evidence of effective teaching, scholarly research, and clinical experience is required. Responsibilities of this position include teaching primarily undergraduate-level courses, advising psychology majors academically, professionally, and vocationally, supervising students in internship experiences, engaging in scholarly activity, and providing service to the department and the University. Successful candidates must demonstrate a strong Christian faith, a commitment to the University’s Mission and a demonstrated commitment to that faith, through his/her professional responsibilities, teaching, relationships, and the mentoring of students. Salary is competitive and commensurate with experience and qualifications.
