Acts as a central clearinghouse for technical support issues. Logs every call and, if possible, attempts to isolate the cause of the caller’s problem. If the problem cannot be solved over the phone, will dispatch another technician and monitor the progress of the transaction to a satisfactory conclusion.

Qualifications
Education: Associate of Arts Degree in Computer Science preferred; two years of related experience and/or training which provides knowledge, skills, and abilities sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job may be substituted for education.
Experience: Working with computers.
Licenses/Certificates/Registration: None.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities Required: Knowledge of: hardware, peripheral, telephone, and software troubleshooting techniques, various software applications, call tracking, data entry, reporting, and filing procedures. Skills in: documenting, processing, and procedures, establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with staff at all corporate levels, communication both oral and written, sufficient to exchange or convey information, receiving direction, and analyzing and resolving system problems. Ability to: prioritize tasks, work with difficult people in a positive pleasant manner and use good listening skills.
