Production Design Engineer

Responsibilities: Coordinate with other departments and subcontractors; Establish manufacturing process for detail parts and assemblies; Design and produce drawings; Create and maintain work instructions; Create, verify, and optimize CNC programs; Obtain First Article Inspection; Coordinate on inspections; Research machining methods; Perform costs analysis/justifications; Define customer requirements; Establish project timeline; Generate cost estimates; Establish first cycle run-time; Train operators in machining operations; Support production department.
Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in industrial or mechanical engineering with comparable work experience (2-3 years) in industrial manufacturing; Knowledgeable in Solidworks, CATIA, MasterCam, and Vericut; Proficient in GD&T. Standing for an extended period may be required.
