Staff Accountant

Harrisburg-based professional association insurance agency seeks motivated, responsible individual to prepare and post journal entries, process invoices for payment, reconcile agency and producer commissions, prepare and analyze account reconciliations and reconcile bank statements. Also, be able to work with agency management system in preparing monthly financial statements and annual budget process. Experience with insurance agency accounting in reference to commissions, preferred. The candidate must possess excellent analytical skills and have experience working with an automated accounting software system. An Associate's degree preferred and/or minimum of one year work experience required.
