I & E Technician

Full-time position as I & E Technician. Experienced in preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, and calibration of all instrumentation including CEMS, Ovation control system, and Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC's). Repair and calibrate control valves, transmitters, thermocouples, and dampers. Calibrate, scale, and maintain plant instruments and controls, including all peripheral equipment at facility stand-alone PLC's. Test and troubleshoot pneumatic, electrical and electronic components down to the printed circuit board level. High school diploma or general educational development with 3 to 5 year's commercial power plant electrical technician or boiler electrical technician experience preferred. Technical/ college schooling in electricity, electronics, physics, chemistry, computer programming, programmable logic controller programming and/or math required. Education will be considered toward experience. Knowledge required in AC/DC circuit, calibration of equipment, Smart Controllers, fiber optic systems, ohmmeter and voltmeter. Must provide standard hand tools for industry. Company provides specialized tools. Excellent pay and benefits.
