Job Summary

The Photographer will be a member of our photo & video team to photograph boards of grouted tile and tabletop products. The Photographer will work within our in-house photography department to produce product and styled images for our e-commerce tile collections. You will be responsible for fulfilling a standard set of photographs per product with opportunities to work on more creative projects. The Photographer will allow hands-on experience working with a small team in a commercial photo studio environment. Only applications with an attached link to portfolio accepted.

**The Photographer will need to work on-site five days a week at our Inwood, NY office which is located near JFK airport. Transportation is available to and from the LIRR station and the office.**

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Other minor duties may be assigned.
  • Photographing tile products on wall and floor in a variety of settings.
  • Working with in-house props and furniture to produce a room-scene based on provided direction.
  • Maintain photo asset workflow standards including but not limited to following naming conventions, file management, archiving and quality control out and light retouching.
  • Building out sets with a solid understanding in light manipulation.
  • Technical troubleshooting for lighting and editing software.
  • Work both independently and collaborate with team members and Photo Director.
  • Maintain and manage cleanliness of studio and set, assist with managing inventory of incoming and outgoing product
  • Ability to prioritize work to balance multiple projects and deadline while ensuring efficiency in shoot production to meet internal deadlines.

Qualifications
The requirements listed below are representative of the qualifications necessary to perform the job.
  • 2-4 year degree in photography
  • Strong proficiency image editing and retouching skills
  • Prior photography experience: product photography preferred.
  • Strong proficiency with the following programs Mac OS, Adobe Creative Suite, and Capture One Pro
  • Strong proficiency with Sony cameras, strobe, and continuous lighting equipment
  • Strong technical troubleshooting skills
  • Strong Image archival management skills
  • Ability to lift and move up to 49lbs
  • Adaptable attitude towards evolving creative
  • Excellent organization and communication skills
