Financial Planning & Analysis Manager (Linde Gas North America LLC - Danbury, CT & various & unanticipated Praxair plant sites nationally & internationally - Full time): Work with actual & forecast variance analysis. Review monthly year over year sales variance & quarterly sales & operating profit variance analysis to ensure accuracy & understand all drivers to help explain margin trends.

Requirements: Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Finance, Accounting or a related field plus 5 years of progressively responsible experience in the position offered or as a Senior Financial Planning Analyst, Financial Accounting Specialist, Audit Supervisor or related. Must have at least 5 years of experience in the industrial gas or chemicals industry; Must have 5 years of experience with each of the following: Using consolidation & ERP software including SAP, JDE, Hyperion to research detailed trends & provide explanations of sequential sales & cost variances; Writing & running reports using ERP, consolidation & BI tools including Oracle BI, Cognos BI, SAP CoRe, & Hyperion; Using Excel to create concise & transparent analysis of KPI measures & trends, including building scorecards or dashboards quantifying & measuring financial results, & performing actual & forecast variance, plan & prior forecasts; Documenting & implementing SOX controls & testing processes; Analyzing Cash Flow & Working Capital movements. 10% of travel required to various & unanticipated company sites nationally & internationally.
