Roeslein & Associates of Denver, LLC seeks 2 full-time Mechanical Engineer II in Northglenn, CO to assist Lead MEs with the design & engineering of container facility mechanical systems; perform calculations to ensure safe, correct & economical designs; design process piping & ductwork systems including routing, sizing, materials selection, & supports; develop P&ID's for facility mechanical systems; evaluate & specify mechanical process systems & support equipment; evaluate general arrangements of process equipment & utility requirements; coordinate conveyor systems with process equipment; drive the development of drawing packages by providing direction & assistance to designers; utilize AutoCAD for system designs & development of drawing packages; review drawing details for accuracy, standardization, & completeness; coordinate material take-offs for purchase of materials required for fabrication & installation of Roeslein provided systems; prepare RFQs & solicit bids for equipment, systems, & unitized components; coordinate w/EEs to facilitate design of power distribution systems, power & control panels; coordinate with Roeslein fabrication facilities on fabricated, pre-assembled, & unitized system designs; & assist in the installation & startup of process systems. Requires a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, 3 years of ME or Project Engineer experience and 1 year of experience w/selection of specification of pumps, support &/or HVAC equipment; or 1 year with design & selection of piping components & piping material. Position requires 30% domestic/international travel. Required to pass a drug screen.
