Southeast New Mexico College is looking to hire a
 Clinical Program Coordinator Adjunct Instructor for 
Surgical Technology

• Qualifications
  Required qualifications: Associate Degree with a CST (ST-C) or First Assist Certification, or Bachelor’s Degree in any health related field.
• Surgical Technology academic credentials must be from a nationally recognized and accredited credentialing
  agency.
• Maintaining licensure as necessary during employment is required.
• Three (3) - Four (4) years of experience in the operating room setting
• A minimum of two years clinical experience in medical surgical nursing or Operating
  Room experience as a scrub tech.
• Current licensure to practice as a registered nurse in the State of New Mexico or CST (ST-C) is required.
• Successful experience in teaching at the college level or providing student clinical instruction is preferred.
• The candidate must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, strong clinical skills, and
  reasoning, understanding of student clinical evaluation and outcomes, and a demonstrated commitment to the community college and surgical technology philosophy of education.
• In addition, the candidate must have an appreciation for and understanding of the unique needs of students in both academic and vocational disciplines.
