The Accountant prepares Federal and state tax returns for individuals, partnerships, corporate, s-corporate, fiduciary, etc. The Accountant also prepares monthly bookkeeping and assist with payroll which includes payroll tax deposits, quarterly payroll reports and W2 preparation for clients. Sales tax is prepared and submitted each month.  

The Accountant will also assist multiple Housing Authorities in their monthly bookkeeping, this includes compilation reports and payroll deposits. Year end work is performed to submit financial statements to governing bodies. 

Will assist in researching and resolving tax notices from the IRS and state authorities.

Experience with Microsoft Excel, Word, Quickbooks and Peachtree systems are a plus.  Experience with Lacerte Tax software is also a plus.
