Summary: 

Cleans carpets, furniture, and carpeted wall panels. Cleans/services assigned areas and buildings as needed. Upholds the mission, vision, values, and customer service standards of The MetroHealth System.

Qualifications:

• Required: HS Diploma or passage of a high school equivalency exam. 
• Ability to read and write English.
• Successful completion of The MetroHealth System’s job-related training program within 120 days of position appointment.
• 2 years of recent experience in an Environmental Service department, including operating/caring for associated equipment (i.e. high speed buffers, battery powered scrubbers, wet/dry suction equipment, and scaffolding). 

Nonphysical Requirements: 

• May sit, stand, stoop, bend, and ambulate intermittently during the day. 
• May need to sit or stand for extended periods. 
• See in the normal visual range with or without correction. 
• Hear in the normal audio range with or without correction.
•  Requires some exposure to chemicals and cleaning products.
