The Perioperative Nursing Program may be the right choice for you!
This 10-12 week full-time paid program is designed to teach RNs the scrub and circulating role in the Operating Room with the expectation of a long-standing career in an OR setting. The Perioperative Program provides classroom lecture, skill development during mock surgeries and precepted clinical experiences that are integrated to facilitate your success. Following successful program completion, orientation and training continues as you gain knowledge and skills in other clinical OR specialties. This is a full time regularly-statused RN position.

Position Requirements:
Thorough knowledge of nursing process and practice
Familiarity with a variety of technical equipment to meet patient needs and prescribed medical therapies.
Ability to demonstrate a professional demeanor while using a team approach when providing care.
Enthusiastic and motivated with willingness to learn and ability to multitask.
Educational Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in Nursing, Associate's Degree in Nursing, or diploma from accredited program required.
Registered Nurse with current license to practice in the State of Ohio by the start of the program.
Preferred Qualifications:
One (1) or more years of experience as a licensed RN preferred.
Former critical care experience in an inpatient environment highly preferred.
RN candidates with a passion for a career in the Operating Room.
New Grads are welcome to apply but must obtain their RN license before you apply. We offer the Peri-op class several times a year so if you don't qualify for this session, feel free to post the next session.
Hours of operation: 6:45am- 3:30pm and 11am- 7:45pm iMonday- Friday as well as being on call nights, weekends and holidays.
