Executive Assistant to First Selectman

Responsibilities include:

  • Providing confidential administrative and clerical support to the First Selectman.
  • Interacting with Town departments, commissions, and organizations.
  • Preparing correspondence, agendas and reports.
  • Coordinating information for Town website and quarterly newsletter.

Must be detail-oriented with excellent writing and research skills.

Computer skills, especially Microsoft Word and Excel, essential. Government, IT, and supervisory experience a plus.

Requirements:

  • Associates degree and 5+ years of administrative experience in a similar environment; or equivalent combination of education, experience, and training.
  • Valid CT Driver's License needed.
