IT Release Manager PrimePay LLC, West Chester, PA.

Work directly with PrimePay’s software development team to coordinate software deliveries across multiple products. Responsibilities primarily focus on coordinating software release delivery, management of change requests, and fostering the practice of Built-in-Quality. 

Duties include: Creating, publishing and communicating schedules/calendars for release deliveries (multiple products, multiple release teams with weekly, bi-weekly and monthly releases (approximately 7-10 releases per month); Facilitating release planning based on product needs and priorities; Publishing and communicating release objectives, status, issues and risks to all stakeholders; Ensuring alignment to company’s strategic portfolio and report issues to executive management; Providing input on resourcing to address critical bottlenecks on development teams; Escalating (determine when), tracking and reporting issues and impediments; Supporting/Assisting delivery and release teams with problem identification and decision-making; Identifying where and when to escalate and support via release delivery status communications; Managing change request log, status and disposition - Identify stakeholders; Managing impact assessment of change with release deliveries and determining change disposition (example: approved, hold/defer, rejected); Driving continuous improvement and operational excellence (utilizing previous work experience to knowledge transfer/influence teams); Coaching leaders and teams with agile release practices; and Supporting and providing input to enable a smooth transition to Agile-Lean operating model across the entire software development organization plus envision, enable, describe and perform role of envisioned Release Train Engineer (Release Manager equivalent).

Minimum Requirements: Bachelor's degree (or foreign equivalent) in Electrical Engineering, Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or related field PLUS (3) three years of experience in job offered or directly related. Experience must include: 3-years’ experience managing software development initiatives; Experience working in multiple process disciplines, specifically Agile & Waterfall methods; Experience establishing release status, deadlines, deployment plan and supporting incident management; Experience monitoring release KPIs, and providing post-release reporting, along with monitoring actions for continuous reporting; Experience in managing risks and dependencies; and Experience working cross development, business and other stakeholders to help ensure strategy and execution alignment.
