Support Service Specialist

Organizational Overview: State Crest Carpet and Flooring, Inc. is a wholesale flooring distributor located in Bedford Heights, Ohio. The family-owned and operated organization has been serving Cleveland’s retail stores for over 70 years. The organization is looking for a support service specialist. This is a full time position and on-the-job training will be provided.

Hours: 8:00 am-4:30 pm

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Interacts with customers via telephone or in person to provide support and information on products.

• Ensures that appropriate actions are taken to resolve customers problems and concerns

• Maintains customers’ accounts and records of customer interactions with details of their orders.

• Uses knowledge of products and materials

• Performs additional related duties that are assigned

• Screen phone calls for each department

• Check stock of each product

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Excellent communication skills including active listening

• Service-oriented and able to resolve customer grievances

• Proficient computer skills with the ability to learn new software

• Knowledge of, or ability to learn the products and services of the company

• Must have the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment

• Team-player oriented

• Excellent phone etiquette

Education and Experience:

• High School diploma or equivalent
