Assistant Portfolio Manager (The Vanguard Group / Malvern, PA) – Utilize knowledge of a portfolio of investments, risk management strategies & policies to support & participate in the research process & portfolio management using equity investment analysis & quantitative modeling. Requires Master’s or higher in Economics, Political Economy, Finance, or another closely related field & 2 years experience in job offered or as Investment Risk Analyst. Background in education, training or experience must include use of quantitative research analysis using statistical models with proficiency in 1 or more coding languages Python, Matlab, R; proficiency in use of financial software Bloomberg, Factset, & TReuters, as well as familiarity with equity risk models Axioma or Barra; experience in financial sector with European clients. 5% business travel required to company local offices in Europe/N.A. to support marketing & distribution effort, sales support & education, client meetings.
