Mission

Drive the development of Software as a Service sales strategies within the US and Canada in the K-12 Schools and Public Library Markets.

 

Primary Responsibilities

  • Responsible for sales of all SaaS products in the school and public library markets in the U.S. and Canada
  • Focused primarily on sales of EDS and Locate in the public library market for the first 1.5 to 2.5 years to seed the market for FOLIO and to generate instant revenue
  • Work with all K12/PL RSMs to provide field training and expertise
  • Work with K12/Public Library Sales Directors on target accounts
  • Travel with each K12/PL RSM at least twice per year
  • Work with PM on creating 4 or 5 Beta testers for FOLIO Public Library
  • No PL-specific features will be added to FOLIO during the next two or more years, so setting proper expectations with the RSMs, AEs and potential customers is part of the role (as well as documenting customer/prospect feedback)
  • The focus of the position will be to sell what we have and what is approved, and to ensure that others selling in these markets are doing the same
  • Contribute to overall sales process and help set appropriate metrics for K12/Public Library market VPs, Directors and RSMs to achieve sales goals.
  • Support K12/Public Library market VPs, Directors and RSMs with latest information, features and implementations of SaaS services.
  • Conduct webinars, WebEx and face-to-face presentations for key customers and prospects.
  • Pass on feedback from customers and prospects to help with service issues and new feature ideas regarding SaaS services.
  • Work closely with the VP of SaaS Innovation and the VP of SaaS Marketing to develop and establish, an effective marketing strategy.
  • Maintain key customer relationships, develop and implement strategies for expanding the SaaS Services customer base within the US & Canada.
  • Help to develop pricing policies, including volume discounts and terms and conditions, for high-profile customers and channel partners.
  • Be a role model for the company culture.

 

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • At least 7 years sales experience in comparable industries, with 4 years in a senior management position.
  • Proven sales track record by increasing sales in territory each year.
  • 50% or more travel required

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Ability to plan and manage at both the strategic and operational levels.
  • Established contacts and relationships with potential customers and channel partners.
  • Outstanding consultative selling abilities and excellent interpersonal skills with executive level customers and partners.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and staff to create results driven, team oriented environment.
  • Capacity to assume more significant executive responsibilities over time.

 

 

Target Annual Compensation Range: $128,100 - 183,000

 

This Pay Target range includes a typical sales commission.  The actual salary offer will carefully consider a wide range of factors including your skills, qualifications, education, training, and experience, as well as the position’s work location.
