Job Description |
Job Summary: Coppin State University (www.coppin.edu) invites qualified candidates to apply for an Adjunct Computer Science Faculty. The successful candidate should have a master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Candidates must be able to teach both lower and upper level undergraduate courses on Blackboard Ultra in computer science, cybersecurity engineering and information sciences, stimulate class discussions, and ensure student engagement. Classes are taught day, evening, and weekend. Teaches computer science and/or cybersecurity students onground and can preferably use C++, Java, Python, Linux OS, and VMware. Use of Mathematica, MATLAB, and Ras appropriate is encouraged. For the purposes of reappointment, emphasis will be placed on teaching effectiveness, class learning evaluation, and grade reporting promptness.
