Engineering Associate/Senior Civil Engineers ($7,553.00 - $11,716.00 PER MO) Under general direction from the Civil Engineering Department Manager, to plan, direct, and perform professional engineering work related to the design, construction, and maintenance of irrigation related facilities and miscellaneous project requests from other divisions/departments within the Turlock Irrigation District. Position requires a Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with major coursework in civil engineering and/or agricultural engineering. Currently recruiting for the Associate or Senior Civil Engineer levels only. The Associate level is usually exhibited by a person with three (3) years of increasingly responsible professional engineering experience; Senior level is usually exhibited by a person with five (5) years of increasingly responsible professional engineering experience. In addition to the experience, possession of a valid certificate of registration as a professional engineer issued by the State Board of Registration for Professional Engineers is required. At time of hire, physical exam, drug & alcohol screen, background check & a valid appropriate CA driver's license is a prerequisite for employment.
