    Human Resources Specialist I: College-level course work in human resources, public administration or a related field and one year of experience in human resources.

    Human Resources Specialist II: College-level course work in human resources, public administration or a related field and three years of experience in human resources, related to recruitment, selection, employment or operations.

The Executive Services Division is now accepting applications for Human Resources Specialist I/II. The Human Resources Specialist I/II performs highly specialized technical support functions in compensation, employment, personnel records, position control, certificated recruitment, or other areas for the certificated and classified personnel of the Santa Clara County Office of Education. EXAMINATION PROCEDURES Following the final filing date, the qualifications of all candidates will be evaluated. The most qualified candidates will be invited to participate in a written exam, tentatively scheduled for January 22, 2020. Those who pass the written exam will be invited to participate in a panel interview with subject matter experts, tentatively scheduled for the January 28, 2020. Based on the final scores of qualified candidates, Classified Personnel Services will establish a ranked candidate list. Selected candidates from the list will be invited to a second interview with the hiring authorities, tentatively scheduled for TBD.
