LABORER WILKINS TOWNSHIP DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS

The Township of Wilkins is accepting applications for the position of Laborer in the Department of Public Works. This fulltime position is labor intensive, requiring heavy lifting and walking. The ideal candidate must have a proven work and driving history. Experience in asphalt, concrete, sewer construction, snow removal, carpentry or electrical work is preferred. Eligible candidates must be capable of operating a standard shift transmission and possess a valid Pennsylvania Driver's License. As a condition of employment, candidates must have, or obtain within one year, a Class "B" Commercial Driver's License. Graduation from high school or a GED is required. Township residency is required within one year. A physical and drug test will be performed prior to employment.
