Join our team of competent and compassionate professionals as a Case Manager in the Juvenile Court Clinic program at Behavioral Health Network! 

 

**NOTICE**

In accordance with the BHN Mandatory COVID vaccine policy - all staff, interns, temps, residents and contractors are required to be fully vaccinated no later than day one of employment. Medical or religious exemptions will be offered and must be approved prior to starting work.

Your experience, knowledge and great skills will support the Juvenile Court Clinic program with the following:

  • Conducting intake meetings with Dually Involved Youth and parent/guardian.
  • Inviting participants to case conference meetings.
  • Referring the youth and families to community services and the PPAL parent advocate.
  • Completing Dually Involved Youth case conference form during case conference meetings.
  • Attending all Dually Involved Youth court sessions as well as JDAI/Dually Involved Youth meetings.
  • Providing the Judge, probation and defense attorneys with updates on recommended services from the case conference meeting.
  • Following up on recommendations made at the case conference meeting.
  • Ensuring proper completion of release of information form.
  • Maintaining Dually Involved Youth case binder and court schedule and keeping notes from court session.
  • Maintaining database on Dually Involved Youth referrals and participants in meetings.

BHN’s Juvenile Court Clinic program consists of a multi-disciplinary professional team. They are approachable, collaborative, cohesive, down to earth, knowledgeable, and supportive colleagues. All of the team members are highly motivated, independent, and demonstrate exceptional organizational and clinical skills. Services are provided for youth involved in both the Court and child welfare systems. The Juvenile Court Clinic facilitates a multi-disciplinary meeting with families, the Department of Children and Families, Department of Youth Services, and court personnel to promote the development of enhanced cross-system practices that enable achievement of improved youth and family outcomes. The program has obtained the trust and respect from the Courts in which they served. The staff is known for being responsive to the needs of partner agencies and allies in the legal system. Their dedication to the work grows out of a passion to support the learning and growth of adolescents and families who are court involved.

Job Requirements

What are we looking for in a Case Manager?

  • Bachelor’s Degree (required).
  • At least two years of experience in human services (required).
  • Knowledge of word processing, spreadsheets, internet and email.
  • Valid driver's license and a reliable car available for working hours (required).
  • Training is provided by BHN.
